Christmas and New Year are always a great time to take photos of family. Brett, Kim, Kristin, Cameron, and Sydney recently settled into their new home in Rincon, GA. They moved from Ft. Hood, TX in August, just after Brett finished up his 3rd tour of the Middle East as an Army Maintenance Test Pilot. Being closer to the Carolinas means we will all get to see them plenty more than before. After church, we decided to do a family portrait. Sherie and Grandma Carol joined in waving their arms and calling “look at Uncle Andy” as we quickly learned that keeping the attention of three hungry children was a bit of a challenge. It was a good thing that Salsa’s was the location of our first session. Although most of the photos were taken of Kim and Brett while the kids were down for a nap, it was loads of fun and a great way to start the New Year off. The last photo of the day (not shown) was a twist on a relatively new tradition started in Hawaii by Tommy McBride. Too bad though…this photo doesn’t count as official since it wasn’t taken by Kim in Maui. Oh, you will need to ask Brett himself to divulge the content of this extremely funny photo.
