Vacation Practice | Baker Family

We couldn’t wait another month to head to the beach.  I call it practice for the real vacation. Before we left, I took my old surf fishing reel completely apart and reassembled it surprisingly without a single screw left over.  It didn’t catch anything this trip, but let me tell you about the one that got away:) The Myrtle Beach Sky Wheel was the highlight of the weekend.  Emma loved it.  Sunday before we left, I took some time to do a photo walk while Sherie and Emma were still asleep. When I got back, both of them were still undercover, so I yanked back the curtains to let the light in. It didn’t take them long to wake up and get ready for one more trip to the sand. We walked to the pier where I took advantage of some more photo opportunities, my favorite subjects. The real vacation starts in September.  I can’t wait.
